4th SME Export Talk: Food Safety for Export

The fourth edition of the SME Export Talk took place in November 4th 2021 and focused on Food Safety for Export. Many Cambodian exporting SMEs are operating in the agro-processing sector and must meet strict requirements enforced by importing countries on food safety.

The participants  heard from an auditor on the food safety certifications & standards that are available along with processes and requirements to obtain them, they learned the different types of services and food safety tests that laboratories provide. They also heard from an experienced company about the challenges of getting certified, and how food safety certifications have benefited their operations & exports.
