Training-of-Trainers (ToT) webinars on WCO RM Compendium

ARISE Plus Cambodia is co-organizing with GDCE a series of awareness-raising webinars on the WCO RM Compendiums 1 & 2 dedicated to selected managers and staffs at GDCE responsible for RM controls and operations.

The training will focus on four critical aspects of the risk assessment learning circle, namely risk identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation and prioritisation and profiling. The course will:

1. provide definitions of all terms relating to the RM function, with particular emphasis on  Post Clearance Audit (PCA) work;

2. explain the overall principles governing risk identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation and prioritisation and profiling;

3. explain the basis on which risk identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation and prioritisation and profiling support and facilitate integrated risk management;

4. enable trainees to work on examples of risk identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation and prioritisation and profiling; and to learn how to facilitate respective exercises with officials from other government agencies

5. provide opportunities for trainees to examine how current working practices in Cambodia can be revised in line with the WCO best practices; and to learn how to involve officials from other government agencies in such discussions and exercises
